Panama City Beach in Florida does not close when summer ends. Spring and fall are festival season, and the beach is at its best in both.

The big one is Thunder Beach, the motorcycle rally that fills the coast road twice a year, once in spring and once in autumn. Even if you do not ride, the town hums for the whole week: vendor villages, live music, and a parade of machines worth watching from a beach chair.

Fall brings the pirate season. The Pirates of the High Seas festival takes over Pier Park and the marina with invasions, fireworks, and treasure hunts for the kids. Spring leans musical, with jazz and country events landing between the beach weeks.
